The Maddest Story Ever Told

I am very excited about all this also very tried. Its been non-stop this whole week. I am going to be free of pain. My Doctor...Dr. Mark J Greenbaum said that even with the recovery I am going to feel less pain then what I am going through now. Six weeks of healing. That is short. On Friday I got my wheelchair, and crutches from a medical supply place called Kelly's. The wheelchair to rent is about 135 dollars a month. If they are in the network, the insurance will pay 80% if not 60% which is still better than paying for it full. I already have all my things together. The blue folder, my pj's that I am wearing there, my cam walker, and my pills are all on top of the wheelchair. I took my jewelry off. I can't wear no make-up and I need to stop eating, and drinking by 8pm tonight. Jeff dad is driving us down there. That is going to feel very nice to have family there. Jeff has been so supportive. I just didn't think this would ever happen. I love him so much. I don't know how I got so lucky to have a man like Jeff. My parent's won't be there. Well, that is nothing new to me. They weren't there for my wedding, or when I had surgery the first time for my ankle. There is so much drama going on with my sister that they tend to always forget about me. Enough whining. LOL. After the six weeks of healing I will get three weeks of physical therapy, and I believe a MRI scan done to see if there is any further complications. He thinks there is something with my bone but normal x-rays does not give enough information to do a proper diagnose. That is why he gave me 89/90%. I never feel any pain in my actually bone, its right under where the tendon is. And like said if I live with no pain that is 100% to me. I don't care if I never get full range of motion.

Well, I am off to watch Twin Peaks pilot its been a while since I have seen watched it. I don't want to wear my tape down. They have it on dvd. Some big ass collector box set with both season, and pilot. Maybe after all this hospital/doctor bills I can get it.

Surgery at Atlanta.
The surgery is all set up for this Monday coming up for June 30. I have to be there by 9:30am, and the surgery is at 10:45am. I am so excited. I just can't believe this is finally happening after/almost 5 years of being in pain from walking/standing...anything that has to do with my ankle. I can probably have a "normal" life again. Dance again! Exercise again with no pain! Everything that people take things for granted with NO PAIN! I been so sleepless lately, and I been super busy. I am not going to have any more metal in my ankle which is great for future problems I may have, and need a MRI. The doctor is still concern that this may not solve the problem. The thing is its going to solve the problem with the pain, and I am sooo happy about that. He said that my ankle scar is gonna look a little worst from being cut open again. Once again I don't care. Battle scars are sexy. Its the mark of strength, courage, and of course a story.

I already paid for the deductible. That was a 1000.00$$$$$$ I remember when they use to 100 than 200...250. I got my surgical boot/cam walker, that was 700.00$$$$. I just can't how much that shit is. I just pay now 20% coinsurance after the deductible is made. It could be worse, and I believe my payment max is 3000.00 $$. I also my doctors prescription for after the surgery. I got Meprozine for the pain, never heard of this pills(a pain reliever similar to morphine). Am gonna be messed up for a few days. And Clindamycin which is the generic brand for Cleocin for the antibiotic. I still need to get a wheelchair, and crutches. Jeff Dad called me and said he has two wheelchairs for me to choose from, and all I need is to buy the crutches which I called a medical supply place, and its about 56. But first they send it to my insurance, and I pay 20%.

I am so tired. I need sleep. I am going to post this also on myspace.

I went to the podiatrist this morning. Things are looking up. I do have to have another surgery. After this I won't do another if it doesn't work. They are going to take all the screws, and plate out. Afterwards he is going to stretch the tendon. That is what has been causing my ankle spasm. My tendon is too tight. He said, the bone heal very nicely, and the doctor that did it had done a good job. When the assistant took the x-ray out, I couldn't help to cry. Everything that I been through is going to be over soon. The doctor kept saying no tears its a good thing. He doesn't understand why I am crying. LOL. He said that the tendon is 89/90 % of the problem. He said if its the bone, that a whole different ballpark, and something that really can't be fix with guaranteed results. It will take about two weeks for the wound to heal, and about 6 weeks for the tendons. And just 3 weeks of therapy. Its an outpatient procedure which I am very happy about. The surgery is going to take about one hour, and half. At least I going to have Jeff for all this, and that is going to help more than anything. When this happened last time, I had NO emotional support.

In other news, last week my refrigerator broke down. The new one was shipped to us on Saturday, and its beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful! Its a frigidaire, stainless steel, and 26 cu ft. It has some fancy features like filter water, and ice maker. Its really nice. I am glad I bought it. It was on sale for 854.00 plus warranty it came out about 1150 dollars. I applied for the sear credit card, and I get no interest for a year. I will pay on it 150 - 200 a month. It will be paid before we know it. Than it will be time to get a stove.

I am off to rest, and finish my cup o noodle soup.

I been sick these two days. Just a mid-grade fever. Nothing to go crazy about. Nothing much has been happening. Just doing the same old thing. I need to rememeber to call WyndHam resort to book over rooms for Screamfest this year. Also an appointment to see whats wrong with my ankle. Screamfest, its gonna be fucking great. Just like last year. I dont know if we are going to DragonCon though. We didn't go last year, and I know we didn't miss much. I feel DragonCon is all about who has the best custom. Boring.

As for Alien Sex Fiend and Specimen show, we aren't going. Its just too damn high. Its 35.00 per ticket, than the service charge. I see about almost forty dollar per ticket, and if not just a tad more. So about eighty dollars for the tickets. Thats not including the gas, and of course drinks, and food. Its takes about two hours to get to Atlanta. That will be about fifty dollars of gas one way. Hell no! If I was living in Atlanta of course I would go. So sad how greedy this country is.

At least we have screamfest to look forward towards the end of the year. This year they are going to have some new, and big guest names!!! I can't wait!!!!
1. Malcolm Mcdowell ( I just can't believe he is going to be there! Little Boots!)
2. Angus Scrimm ( it doesn't get any better than this! I been wantint to meet the Tall Man forever!!!)
3. George Romero ( I will be meeting him once again!!!!!!)
4. Most of the crew of Dawn of the Dead. 30 year anniversary.
5. Fairzua Balk ( hottie!)
6. many others....i just don't feel like typing it out. Getting dizzy.

Later, until next time.

Since I last posted. Nothing to report. My life is going great. Been catching up with my reading, and playing way less of WoW. I am bored of the game. Jeff has been working very few hours but they told him it should pick back up in April. Atlanta got hit with some tornadoes last night. Its been a nasty day weather wise here. We need the rain though.

Windstream has to be about one of the worst telephone customer service around. Last night my DSL went down about 5:37pm, didn't come until wee into the night. At first I just thought it might have been a temporary down because we had freezing rain yesterday. After awhile, I was jonsing to play WoW like a junky on H. Lidia was getting on my nerves on the phone. Preaching this, and that. She is ultra conservative, ultra religious christian now, and I just can't handle that. I don't have a problem with people having faith, I just don't like to hear how everyone is wrong. What she believes is right. I just don't want to get into it but it really ticked me off. I hope its just another one of her phrase in life, and she will get back to the old Lidia. Me in a political view, I am just smack in the middle. Either way is just too fuckin extreme for me. Well, after that whole ordeal, I called windstream to seek help. First off, they don't even have the number on the actual bill. I had to find the telephone book, and bam there it was it. I called 1-888-blah-no-help number, and I was on wait for about 10 mins that seems like hours with that lame ass music they play. My fuckin phone died, and I get no help. Maybe it was longer. Well, after like 20 mins after the call, suddenly my DSL is working again. Instant smile, and calmness took over me. Now to crack out until 6am.

Here is my warlock, she is super newbie:

I use to like writing in this, not so much anymore. I really don't have much to say. My life is pretty dull but things are going to change this year. Am fixing my ankle, and hopefully getting a life. Well, I have a life but not the life I want. I would just love to do the things I use to do. Dance, paint without having to sit down all the time, climb, jump, run, all that shit. What I wonder is if they are going to take out the metal I have in my ankle. If they do I want to keep it.

I haven't been playing WoW as much as I liked to. I have some pretty neat characters. I am a night person, and Lidia, is in bed by 10pm. I never had a life like that. Wait, that is a lie I have been its been so long its like a dream. Speaking of dreams, I been having very strange ones. Undead, zombies type people locking me up in some apartment encouraging me to paint. I was not to be released until I have completed some art work. Yes, I have been neglecting it but its just too cold to do anything. Its like 18 degrees right now! That is one thing I am getting once I have a job is fuckin central heat. Ah, I miss Miami.

I am currently reading two books, Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton and Bizzarro Starter Kit. I am doing this year 25 signet classic reads. Most of them I have read but its been a good ten or more year since I have read them so its time for a refresh. I want to make my 50 books mark by the end of the year. So far its a slow start.

edit - 4:19am

The first paragraph sounds like I am unhappy with my life. Its the total opposite. I couldn't ask for a better husband/friend than Jeff. He has been there for me since 2001. He takes care of me. He does everything for me. I am so great full for that. How many people are like in this world. Not many. I am just happy that I am. Before I just use to bitch, and bitch. There isn't much of that anymore. Just petty shit like how fuckin cold this house gets.

I am so addicted to this album. As well as the movie.

Ah
I am cold. I been feeling frozen lately. We been having more snow that usual, and a lot of freezing rain. We have another severe storm warning for tonight so I hope Jeff gets come in time.

I became friends with Lidia again. We haven't spoken to each other since about 2005 when I left her house. We also have been cracking out on WoW again. its also been that long since I haven't played. I am playing alliance character. I am a dwarf female warrior, talent skills on protection. I also have a character on the horde side. A female warlock blood elf. I been spending way to much time, on it so I am putting a limit on myself. after 7pm I could play after my work out, reading, chores, all that crap. I been neglecting my reading big time. How am i going to reach 50 books this year if I haven't even started on one.

here are some pictures of hoar frost, and icicles on Blood Mountain, my frozen sliding glass, and my yard.

Another cold front is present... its 36 degrees, and its dropping. I was outside feeding the dogs, and snows/ice flakes starting falling on me. I am trying desperately to start a fire, and I keep failing. Good thing for electric space heaters but a nice fire would make it perfect.

Am gonna try again.

Yesterday was Jeff birthday, he turned 36. He had to work so there really wasn't much of a celebration. He is off on Tuesday, once again his only day off for the week. He came home about one in the morning, and had to be at work today one in the afternoon. Errr. It sucks sometimes be alone all the time. I try not to think about it or else I get all depressed and shit, and I don't need that. Its too cold for that shit.

Last night for dinner, I cooked us sirloin steak with yellow squash, and for dessert, Creme Brulee. I really wanted to make him a coconut cheesecake but I didn't have enough of the ingredients.

We watched part of Day Watch by Timur Bekmambetov. About halfway through the movie I hear Jeff snoring, so I knew it was time to go to bed. But we didn't. He made himself a midori sour, and I had a glass of wine. Watched about 20 more mins of the film. Than it was time to sleep. Tonight we shall finish watching Day Watch, and I can have a final opinion. It has a totally different feel from the first one. I love Night Watch, I think it would have done so nicely as a comic.

Screamfest...Sunday, The Final.
So sad that its nearly over. I have been having such a good time with my friends, and my husband.

Sunday.

We all woke up around eight or nine in the morning. Getting ready to check out. I took a shower on Saturday night so I don't have to bother with it in the morning. All I had to do was my make-up, get dress and make sure everything is all package up. Wyndham had left a bill on our door with instructions how to check out, which was fairly east. Call the number they had provided, and tell them that your checking out. Bamn charged on my credit card. Sheena called me told me that they are having breakfast. We go to the restaurant at the hotel, and the lady said about 25 minute wait. So we wait because they have a good buffet. Sheena, and Arthur walks were we are at, and told me that they had reserve sitting arrangements for all of us. I was no informed about this. Duhr. So we eat, having a merry time until it was time for payment. Sheena just had a roll, and yogurt. She didn't want to pay 15.00 dollars for a buffet she didn't eat. So we tell the waitress, and just as she took the ticket to correct it. Arthur open his mouth, and said " She just ate from my plate." The waitress was excuse me. Arthur repeated himself. She told him "There is no sharing." She left the ticket there. The worst part about this was that she didn't even ate from his plate. Of course the good people that we are, we rag on him about it for some time. Poor Author he takes so much shit from us. After that we went into that lobby to say our goodbyes. It was sad. I didn't want to see them leave so early. Arthur, Sheena, and Jose, went on there way home. Goodbye. We took a few group pictures with everyone. The end.

Now Rachelle, Jeff, and myself went back to the convention. There was still a couple of people that I wanted to met, and get autographs. We stood in line for Doug Bradley again so Rachelle could met him, and take pictures. I also got another autograph of him from Nightbreed. He told me that was the second one he sold the entire weekend. After we got Brad Loree autograph, and finally got Betsy Palmer autograph. She was the sweetest person in the whole convention. She didn't forget me. We talked about horror in general, and took pictures and off we go. Rachelle, decided to roam by herself for a while. All we need was Kane Hodder. The line was rapid because he was due to be in a conversation panel. After Kane Hodder, we met up with Rachelle and we went to the Q & A's.

After the panel we went back to the dealers rooms to see what we can buy. There has been a nun painting I been eyeing the whole convention. I finally broke down and bought it. I am glad I did because I met the artist. Her art is amazing!!! its called Sister Vigilance:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Edit : Also the artist name is Rochelle Heagh Phister. http://www.darksartparlour.com/rhphisterthumb.html

I also met Robert Shuster, the only author that I know of in Screamfest. I bought four books from him. Sevenacide, The 13 Colonies, I Vampire ( which is the one I have heard about before), and Phase II. I can't wait to read them. We walked around until it was time for Rachelle to depart. So sad. I was having so much fun hanging out with her. Well, until next time. I hope she visit me soon. Than after we bought a few t-shirts, dvd's, comic's, and books. We spend a lot money on this convention. It was all worth it though. I can't wait to next year. Here are the final pictures.

Well, until next convention. The End.

Screamfest...Saturday, part Two.
Saturday morning.

Damn I slept good. I called a few of my friends to see what was going on. Jose nor Arthur were picking up. Rachelle, my line kept cutting or I get a busy signal. I got a hold of her after awhile. She had a late start. Sheena, was having breakfast. I believe. My ankle was hurting from all the walking I did last night. I took a couple of pain pills. In a few hours it should be better. I took a shower, or was that last night. Either way Jeff, and I got dressed. Hit up some breakfast buffet. Lets see I had, French toast, one egg, grits, pancakes, and sausage with fresh squeeze orange juice. I was mighty full and ready to go. As we were getting back to our room, we bump into Arthur, and Jose. Gave them all the updates, and told them to hit up the breakfast buffet because it was damn good. Jeff, and I went back to our room where I think thats when I took a shower, and got all dress up.

By this time I am still limping. As we getting back to the convention we saw the line for Robert Englund. Holy Fuckin Shit! It was long. We should have done this last night. So we fallow the line all the way in the end, and I ask out loud, who is the last person. And out come from the line, Sheena, " Hey, bitch. I knew that was you being all loud." She said something like that. So we hug, and all that stuff. Her brother Sean, his wife Jenny, and Sheena mother was there as well. So we waited, and waited. My ankle bothering me like crazy I take two more blue pills. So far I think that is four. Than I was saying why don't we go sit down, while you wait, and we trade after some time as past. As long as I am moving my ankle doesn't bother me as much. Than I said, let get go get Doug Bradley for Sheena. We waited about 15 mins more or less. After that I met Gunner Hansen. He looked tired. Didn't say much. Took a couple of pictures and off we go. I am not sure if we went to Brad Loree for Sheena or was it after Robert Englund.

So we back to the line to give Sheena mother, brother, and his wife to roam around. Finally after waiting for Robert Englund we get the news that he is not taking pictures. We can take picture but just not together. Oh well. I just want to met him. By this time I think we were in line about 3 or 4 hours. Rachelle, finally gets there just about an hour away from meeting Robert Englund. I am just glad she made it. So we finally get too! He was awesome. He had something to say to everyone. Rachelle, he started talking about that Seinfeld episode. "Rochelle, Rochelle, the story of a young girl's journey from Milan to Minsk." For Sheena he busted out "Sheena, Queen of the Jungle." And for myself...which you will see on the picture what he said to me. I was taking a picture of him but my camera is slow, and he said, "Hurry up Barbie, and take the damn picture BITCH!" Everyone around us started laughing, and cheering. He said it in his Freddy voice. I could just died right there. It was so fuckin awesome.

Than we went back to the dealer rooms to look over some more stuff. Thats when I bumped into Joel Wynkoop booth. He was awesome. He has worked with Tim Ritter on the Truth or Dare's movies and a bunch of others ones. I believe when Tim & Joel were in high school they made a Truth or Dare short film, I am not sure about the title. Joel was Mike Strauber in the short. I remember when I was a little girl. My mother had rented Truth or Dare? back in 1986 or 1987 whenever our video store had it in the new release. It became a cult classic in my family, and among friends. Joel is also director, producer, and writer. I ended up with four movies. He is a director, producer, and writer as well. I ended up with four movies. Wicked Games( Truth or Dare 2), Screaming for Sanity (Truth or Dare 3), Killing Spree, & Rot. There was so many movies I wanted to buy from him. Give me something to look forward on next Screamfest to buy. We chatted for awhile, took a couple of pictures, and he sang me the Truth or Dare rap. I had such a good time at his booth. I also met his wife. She was very nice as well, and helping him remember quotes from the movies. Hehehe.

After we got that done we ate some pizza, and fries. Walked around. Started drinking. During this whole time, Arthur, and Jose was lost. Arthur did met with us later at the bar. It was a fun as fuck night. Later on in the night we saw The Van Orsdels. They played pretty good but the sound was terrible. Hardly could hear George singing in the beginning. Sometimes the guitar over power everything, and the stand-up bass. Was not even noticeable it was so quite. We finally got all together at night. Started having our own party. That night I called it early since it was check out the next day.

And finally the pictures which I am sure everyone looked at first. =)

Until Sunday...where the adventure ends.

Screamfest...Friday, part One.
How to begin all this...

We left late Thursday after noon on Oct 18, we had a late start. Oh, around one or two we were on the road. We ate at the Golden Corral in Tiffon, Ga. We got to Jasper, Florida around 8 something at night. We did a lot stops on the way, stretch breaks, and to gas up. We stayed at some cheap ass motel called the Scottish Inn. There was a Days Inn but I don't like them. There beds are too uncomfortable. The Scottish Inn was alright I surely wouldn't stay there again. It was nasty, and dirty. But the kind of dirt that won't leave. The bed was very comfy. I didn't sleep all that great because I was having an allergic reaction to medication I was taking. Now, I know for sure I am allergic to penicillin.

We got up the next day around 8 in the morning. Driving south once again, until we found an IHOP to eat breakfast. I believe that was on Wildwood, Fl. I had some strawberry crepes things, which were pretty good. Hours later we finally get to Orlando, Fl. The traffic was horrendous. We got lost for a tiny bit. Ask for direction in so fancy watch place and they printed us a map to get us there. Next stop Wyndham Resort! Alright! We found parking towards the end of the place, and walked over to check in to our rooms. It was about three o'clock then. We got our rooms, which was were we park our car. Room 320. I should have taken pictures. It was a nice one. I wish it was a little bigger but we can't have everything. It had two full beds, which was extremely comfortable. Now time to rest a little. Charge up batteries for the cell phone, and the camera. I took a shower, and got dress again.

We started to venture out, and trying to find the line for the convention. Which was at the end around the corner. It was a short line, and we got there around four something. We waited about an hour. Which wasn't bad. The will call line was long as hell! During the wait, I see Joel Wynkoop. I called him over, he was talking to some guy but whatever. I shook his hand, and asked him about his Truth or Dare shirt, and he gave me all the info I need. Too bad they weren't selling any at the booth. We got our weekend pass, and off we go. It was a small convention but so much to do. I was amazed. So much better than DragonCon. DragonCon has turn into some custom dress up convention. We started walking around just checking out the place, and see what we are going to do first. We went into the dealers rooms. We bought an Fangoria magazine, and the Tall Man action figure. We walk around more, and got boom bared with flyer's, stickers, magazines, you name it. Everything HORROR! I was loving it. Than after a while I decided it was time to drink. I bought some wine. 5.50 a cup! Daaaaaaaaaaum! So Jeff, and I walked across the street, and I bought me a bottle. All I kept doing was going back to my room, and filling it up.

Friday night I met, Tom Savini, I didn't get a picture with him. He was sort of cold. I met Bill Hinzman. What a nice guy. He said the zombie walk was too hot. Hahaha, yup its Florida. Than I met Doug Bradley what another great guy. I bought his book Behind the Mask of the Horror Actor and he signed that. I asked him about the whole remake about Hellraiser, he isn't too happy about it. He said it was a waste of good celluloid. Than I asked him if they ask him to be in it would he. He said, Of course. After words or maybe before I met Richard Brooker, he was Jason in Friday the 13th part 3. The first one to wear the hockey mask. He gave his little rant about his pictures with, and without mask. By this point the alcohol is kicking in, and I just don't remember what he said. The same happened after when I met Micheal Berrymen. He telling stories, I am sure Jeff remembers. He was getting all nervous because of my alcohol might slip out of my hands and ruin is pictures. I don't blame him for getting worried. He was a cool guy. Next I wanted to met was Betsy Palmer. She was already packing her stuff. I was like, I guess you out for the night. I will visit you tomorrow. She said, I won't forget you with your pretty red hair. About 20 mins later I ran into her again in the hallway. She looked at me, and started stroking my hair, I won't forget you. You have such pretty red hair. I believe that was it for meeting the guest that night. I wish I would have met Robert Englund that night because the line was super short, and would have not waited about 3 or 4 hours to meet him the next day. It was totally worth it once I tell what happened.

Now for the pictures from this day...Later on or tomorrow I will write about Saturday.

Jose, and Arthur got there around 12 something in the morning. Jeff, and I was watching Voltaire, and I didn't want to miss that. His performance was awesome. I have some pictures, and a video of him. Singing his most famous song, When You're Evil. Just about 3 mins of it though. He told stories about how some fat chick with a green mohawk in last Screamfest was picking at him. Threw her in the pool three times. On the last push she grab his sweater, and rip it to strings. After words we met up with Jose, and Arthur. There goes my almost two years of being clean. I had a really good time, and past the fuck out once Jeff, and I got back to our rooms.

School of the Holy Beast
Edit - I should have said, its not work friendly, Oops.

I finally did a fan video from my one favorite songs by Die Form called Suffocations.

For those of you that get easily offended DON'T WATCH! Full with hot nun girl n girl action, whipping, religious blasphemy, oh my! All the good stuff hope to find in a fan video. Plus its from one of my favorite movie called School of the Holy Beast from Norifumi Suzuki.

Now remember this is my first ever doing this so there will be glitches! I hope you all enjoy. =)

That picture I just ganked in a search on yahoo. I can't wait for him to open it. I ask myself, why did I get it so early. His birthday is November 3.

Ooh, I also bought some cool ass tarot cards. Years ago, they have two different waves of H.P. Lovecraft tarot cards, the first series was in a blue tone, while the second one is sepia.

These are the ones I got now: Necronomicon Tarot Kit
Soon enough I will see what they look like. I like the old style better but I am not about to pay 200-350 for a set of cards. Now if money wasn't an issue shit...

I am hungry, time to cook me some breakfast.
